This method reduces the crack occurrence rate in mortar structures, thereby enhancing durability and lowering lifecycle costs. By performing mixed spraying of reinforcement fibers on slopes and other areas, a more lasting weed suppression effect can be expected. 【Why is the crack occurrence rate reduced?】 Reinforcement fibers have various characteristics depending on their type, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. "Varchip MK" has a longer fiber length and a rough surface, allowing the mortar to cling to each fiber, making it difficult to pull out and providing crack prevention effects (cross-linking effect). Additionally, as the bending toughness increases, it is possible to omit the wire mesh and reduce the spraying thickness. However, since each fiber is long and thick, the adhesion area within the mortar decreases.
